The College Connections Project (CCP) is a TRiO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) program funded by the US Department of Education. There are more than 120 TRiO EOC programs in the country. The US Department of Education charges us with providing college transition services to 1000 New York residents, annually.

The CCP is based at the Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC), an organization that provides adults with academic and workforce development programs including English as a Second Language, High School Equivalency, and College Preparation. The MEOC is administered by the Borough of Manhattan Community College and is supported primarily by the SUNY University Center for Academic and Workforce Development.

Since 2011, the CCP has helped thousands of adults to successfully transition into college. Today, we are excited to assist adult residents from around the 5 boroughs of New York City to take advantage of the FREE college advising services available.

Mission Statement

The College Connections Project is dedicated to providing comprehensive college access services and guidance to New York City adults as they explore their post-secondary options. The CCP aims to inspire, motivate, and empower non-traditional adults to seek higher education.

We recognize that planning for college and the application process can be overwhelming. We believe the CCP's approach of helping each participant by focusing on their history, strengths, interests, and goals can not only help ease some of the uncertainty about the process but also make it fun and exciting. The CCP wants to ensure that our participants are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to advocate for themselves within their college communities.
